THE ASSIGNMENT

Veronica Johnson Ministries (VJM) is a duly recognized 501 (c) 3 nonprofit evangelistic association, est. August 2004.

We proclaim the world as our platform, a "ministry without walls" equipping God's people for ministry and service and empowering them for life. We have been called to TREAD: Teach | Reach | Empower | Affirm | Deliver. To tread means to walk in a specified way. To step, walk, or trample so as to press, crush, or injure something (usually followed by on or upon).

"Every place upon which the sole of your feet shall tread, that have I given to you..." (Joshua 1:3)

This is our promise as we take this "STEP OF FAITH" and it implies that the commission involves evangelism, education and mobilization making this an even greater cause that cannot be accomplished by us alone. To "mobilize" means to "put in a state of readiness for active service, to use one's energies for action". A "methodology" is a system of "methods", a clearly defined way of accomplishing a plan or vision.

“Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few:

pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Luke 10:2)

We believe we have been called to Equip, Train and Launch (SEND) laborers into God’s harvest through strategic Mobilization, Multiplication, Collaboration and Education Methodology under the spiritual covering and leadership of Apostle Dr. Veronica A. Johnson and the collaborative efforts of our Apostolic Council and S. A. L. T. (Seasoned Apostolic Leadership Teams) through GO, an Apostolic Hub.  When we say apostolic, this is NOT a denominational posture. This is NOT a doctrinal leaning on a theological position. This refers to the nature, anointing and function of an apostle. Apostles are SENT ONES. They lead companies into regions to establish the will, culture and dynamics of the Kingdom of God. Their grace is to raise up, impart, correct and to SEND OUT (among many others).

GO Apostolic Hub is a global alliance of Kingdom-Purposed Leaders whose focus is the 5-fold ministry mandate (Ephesians 4) will come to commit to serving the Lord and the Body of Christ by investing themselves into others to further the Kingdom by developing the gifts and anointing in people and sending them out.

The mission is to equip, train, and launch other maturing five-fold in the body of Christ to do the work of the Kingdom just as Jesus sent the disciples and Paul, and Paul sent Timothy, and told Timothy to invest himself into people that would do the same again.

As a member of the global alliance we will provide spiritual accountability, empowerment and leadership development as well as opportunities for minister licensing and ordination, webinars, quarterly leadership conference calls, video conferencng, annual conferences and retreats. Members will receive V.I.P. access to VJM events, special discounts for the School of Ministry, ministry products and resources.

This apostolic hub exists "to equip God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ." (Ephesians 4)

VJM is not affiliated with any specific religion or denomination. We want to reach all people and religious beliefs with a message of Healing, Hope and Wholeness. There is unity in diversity and understanding this concept helps to fulfill the unique vision and mandate we have been "SENT" to do. We welcome diversity of ideas, beliefs and cultures.

The vision is great and large therefore we solicit the support of seasoned men and women of God that we can not only work collaboratively with but also be in covenant relationship! “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). There is mutual benefit in the rubbing of two iron blades together; the edges become sharper, making the knives more efficient in their task to cut and slice.

OUR COVENANT COMMITMENT

  • To go beyond building our own Hub, by fulfilling the Antioch call of connecting with and raising up other apostolic hubs globally.

  •  Help others locally and globally who have received the call to establish apostolic hubs in their region.
  •  Utilize years of experience and resources to help bring the power of education and evangelism together.
  • To first establish covenant relationships before partnerships and relationship before ministry.
  • To network with existing and emerging churches and ministries to empower them to SEND laborers into God’s Harvest.

  • To be a global network of seasoned five-fold leaders reaching all 7 spheres of influence: Religion, Family, Education, Government, Media & Entertainment, Arts & Science and Business.
  • Equip, train, and launch other maturing five-fold in the body of Christ to do the work of the Kingdom.
  • To disciple both individuals and nations.
  • To begin the discipleship process starting from pre-believer, to believer, to mature sons of God.
  • To be a platform of mobilization, multiplication, collaboration, and education.
  • To provide tailored equipping for each individual based on their unique gifts, calling, and needs.
  • To be a place to “fitly join” those who may differ in callings and anointing in the work of the Great Commission and specifically the harvest. There is "Unity in Diversity."
  • To build His kingdom, not a human empire.
  • To place the responsibility of personal spiritual growth back on each individual.
  • To be relational, not territorial nor legalistic.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Inspiration of Scriptures:

We believe all scripture is given by the inspiration of God and is therefore the infallible Word of God, in so far as it is correctly translated from the original writings. II Tim. 3:16, II Peter 1:21

The Godhead:

We believe there is one living, true, eternal and everlasting God of infinite power, wisdom, and goodness, the Maker and Preserver of all things, visible and invisible. This one true and everlasting God is preeminent in this world as the Holy Spirit is poured out upon all flesh in this dispensation. This one true and everlasting God was eminent in His creation as Emmanuel, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the supreme sacrifice for the sins of the world. We believe that no man can come to the Father but by and through the Lord Jesus Christ, and His shed blood. John 1:1, 14 & 18, John 14:6-11

Judgment on Adam and the Whole Human Family:

We believe all mankind became sinners as a result of the fall of Adam. Rom. 5:12, Rom. 3:28, I Cor. 15:22-23

Repentance:

We believe in repentance toward God and confession of our sins; a definite turning from them is essential to salvation. John 24:27

Water Baptism:

We believe in water baptism for believers by immersion, as taught in the scripture, and as practiced by the early church. Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5, Rom. 6:3-6

Baptism of the Holy Spirit:

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit accompanied by the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and that it is the endowment of spiritual power for Christian living and service, and it will enable the believer to manifest the gifts of the Spirit as outlined in: I Cor. 12 & 14, Luke 24:29, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 19:1-6.

Divine Healing:

We believe God is still the Healer of His people, and that the Church should recognize and practice this ministry, as directed by the Lord Himself and practiced by His Apostles and disciples. Exodus 15:26, Isaiah 53:5, Mark 16:18, James 5:14-15, Hebrews 13:8

The Lord’s Supper or Communion:

We believe that all followers of Christ should partake of the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper in remembrance of His death until He comes again. Luke 22:19-20, Matthew 26:29, I Cor. 11:23-24

The Gifts of the Spirit:

We believe the nine gifts of the Spirit should be manifest in the Church today, and that all Spirit-filled believers should earnestly covet the best gifts for the edification and building up of the Church. I Cor. 12:8-11, I Cor. 14:1

The Fivefold Ministry:

We believe that God has set in the Body of Christ Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers. Their offices are gifts from God, placed in the Church, filled by people who are to fully equip the people of God for the work of the ministry, the unification of the Body in faith until it is complete in Christ. Ephesians 4:11-6

The Fruit of the Spirit and Godly Living:

We believe all Spirit-filled believers should produce the fruit of the Spirit in their lives, and their walk should be according to godliness and holy living. Galatians 5:22-23, I John 2:6, I Peter 1:16, Titus 2:11-3, II Cor. 7:1

Giving:

We believe that all those in the Church of Jesus Christ should support the work of the ministry with tithes and offerings. Mal.3:8-12, Luke 6:38, Luke 11:42, Acts 20:35, II Cor. 9:7, Hebrews 7:1-10

The Second Coming of Christ:

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ will return in person to Earth for the purpose of translating His Church at a point in time designated by God. John 14:1-3

The Final Judgment:

We believe that there will be a final judgment as recorded in the Word of God. Hebrews 9:27, Revelation 20:11-15.
